Tesla has launched its first-ever combination diner, drive-in movie theater, and supercharging station in the heart of Hollywood. The diner showcases a blend of electric vehicle infrastructure, robots, and Tesla branding, paired with a nostalgic nod to classic roadside Americana.

The diner is located on historic Route 66. It features a two-story, 250-seat restaurant, two massive 66-foot LED screens, and 80 high-speed supercharger stalls—making it the largest urban supercharger station in the world, according to <a href="https://x.com/Tesla/status/1947449877304406360">Tesla</a>.

The branding highlights a “retro-futuristic” aesthetic and a <a href="https://www.tesla.com/diner-webapp/menu/#5068f68d-cdd4-4ab2-8183-1835d9b76646">full-service menu.</a> The menu includes diner-style food with modern updates, such as the “Tesla Burger” with “Electric Sauce,” priced at $13.50 on the menu.

Sides like fries are cooked in beef tallow, and the drink selection features a range of coffee beverages, cane sugar sodas, and old-school fountain favorites like the Shirley Temple, Creamsicle, Lime Rickey, and Catawba Flip. Alcohol is not currently served, according to the diner's <a href="https://www.tesla.com/tesla-diner">website</a>.

Food ingredients are advertised as being sourced from local farms and organic producers—<a href="https://x.com/elonmusk/status/1947591596897444101">items such</a> as pasture-raised eggs, organic milk, and 100 percent raw kombucha, heritage-bred pork, organic heritage wheat, and cheese free from phosphates, starches, acids, and fillers. The hot dogs are sourced from Snap-O-Razzo, a small American family business, using nitrate-free, maple-smoked, heritage-bred beef, and the pies come from Winston Pies, using locally sourced fruit and ingredients from the Los Angeles area, states Tesla.

While the diner is staffed with people, it also has Tesla robots on site serving popcorn and on display throughout the diner. According to Tesla, the site will be open 24 hours a day, including all holidays.

Tesla-branded merchandise is sold on-site, including a Tesla Bot action figure modeled after the company's humanoid robot prototype, which comes with mini action figure-sized french fries.

The company is also selling a trademarked candy line called Supercharged Gummies at its diner, with flavors like Cyberberry, Mango Bolt, and Dog Mode Chill, referencing the company’s pet safety feature.

According to Tesla, the megascreens play a rotating schedule of sci-fi films, classic movies, and SpaceX rocket launches. Guests can view films from inside their vehicles or on the rooftop Skypad dining deck. There’s no ticket required—but watching a movie does require active dining or charging, the company states.

After a fan suggested building a retro-style drive-in at Starbase, Texas, Elon Musk <a href="https://x.com/elonmusk/status/1947346702631084515">replied</a> with simply “Ok” on X, hinting at possible future expansion.

Musk <a href="https://x.com/elonmusk/status/949831212326993920">posted</a> on X about the Hollywood diner plans in 2018, stating, “Gonna put an old school drive-in, roller skates & rock restaurant at one of the new Tesla Supercharger locations in LA.”
