Trump hasn't specified which subjects the hundreds of thousands of Chinese students are allowed to enroll in.

Technology and science have become sensitive fields. That comes as more Chinese researchers—including students—have faced charges for transferring U.S. technology to China.

In May, the United States announced plans to ‘aggressively revoke’ visas for Chinese citizens working in these sensitive areas of study.
