President Donald Trump signed an executive order on Thursday making it easier to remove homeless people from streets. The directive also shifts federal resources toward rehab facilities and fast-tracks funding for cities that crack down on drug use, urban camping, and loitering.

On Friday, Trump said homeless people near the White House will be removed.

"I think it's terrible and we'll have them removed immediately. We do remove it," Trump said. "We've got to get the mayor to run this city properly. This city has to be run, you know, I have the right to take it over."
