The event includes traditional egg rolling and hunting, along with interactive experiences and educational exhibits.

The families also received commemorative eggs as they left the South Lawn.

The White House used the event to highlight the role of faith and the importance of religious liberty.

“On this sacred Easter Sunday, we are reminded that faith is not a private matter to be silenced by government—but a foundational strength of our Republic,” the White House <a href="https://www.whitehouse.gov/releases/2026/04/this-easter-president-trump-reaffirms-america-as-a-beacon-for-christian-liberty/">said</a> in a press release.
