Trump Signs Executive Order at White House (June 29)

Rep. Scott Perry (R-Pa.) discussed with NTD's Steve Lance Iran's use of the threat of economic interference and disaster for the United States and the world, including tying up the Middle East shipping lanes.

Perry said President Donald Trump's brokerage of a civil nuclear deal with Saudi Arabia is remaking the Middle East for the short and long term in that it further isolates Iran and other bad actors in the region.

Perry also responded to U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Mike Waltz's remarks about "getting the United Nations back to basics." Perry said the United States needs to be involved in the committee conversations to make sure U.S. adversaries China, Iran, North Korea, or Russia aren't making the decisions.
