Steve Ispas is an investigative journalist with The Epoch Times and the host of Epoch TV’s “Bay Area Innovators” program. Steve grew up in Eastern Europe, and lived in the San Francisco Bay Area for 35 years. He worked in the tech industry for 15 years at LSI Logic and Rambus, and has been with The Epoch Times in various positions since 2003. His recent coverage includes an in-depth exclusive investigation of the secret Chinese biolab discovered in Reedley, Calif., in 2022.

With backgrounds in psychology, theology, and film, Warfel argues that the modern UFO phenomenon is not a scientific mystery but a spiritual one—and that it represents the latest in a long line of historical attacks on religious faith, following the Age of Enlightenment, Darwinism, and liberal theology.

Warfel explains why he believes these beings cannot be carbon-based visitors from another planet—pointing to the 14 finely-tuned constants that make Earth uniquely capable of supporting life, the mathematical impossibility of life arising by chance, and the sheer distances of intergalactic travel. His conclusion: These are extra-dimensional beings who are trying to turn humanity away from God.
