British Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood said the inquiry will explicitly look into the ethnicity and religion of perpetrators, which past reviews say are predominantly of Pakistani origin and targeting young white girls. Conservative Shadow Home Secretary Chris Philp highlighted some of the extremely graphic details of grooming gang abuse cases.
