This Saturday, U.S. and Iranian officials will begin their third round of nuclear talks in Oman. The upcoming phase of the negotiations will be led by U.S. special envoy Steve Witkoff and State Department director of policy planning Michael Anton. President Donald Trump reiterated his confidence in the negotiations on Friday. Trump has given Iran 60 days to finalize a deal with the United States, laying out his red line that the Islamic regime cannot obtain a nuclear weapon. In his latest interview with Time Magazine, Trump says he's open to meet with Iran's Ayatollah. But he said that military action against Iranian nuclear sites is possible if the deal falls through.
