Secretary of Energy Chris Wright joined Rep. Brian Babin (R-TX) on June 12 at the Port of Houston to highlight America’s growing energy dominance.

Wright announced that the United States has replaced more than half of Iran’s lost oil exports, with America exporting a record 5.4 million barrels per day in May—surpassing both Russia and Saudi Arabia.

Wright told NTD that since the U.S. intervention in Venezuela, Venezuelan oil exports have more than doubled, and a large amount of that oil is going into U.S. refineries. He also noted strong future production growth in the Gulf of Mexico and Alaska, and said that President Donald Trump's energy dominance policies will ultimately deliver lower energy prices for Americans.
