The fear stems from certain areas in China being labeled as having higher or lower risks of virus infection.

The regime says around 100 regions across China pose medium-risk of infection as of Friday. Hebei accounts for half of them. One district in Shijiazhuang, Hebei, even has the current highest infection risk in the country.
