President Donald Trump told reporters that the only two options right now are Iran making a nuclear deal, or the United States bombing the Islamic regime.

Aucoin tells us that Iran has to make a deal where they retain the appearance of or some physical presence of strength, like nuclear capability or Hormuz Strait control, to keep the IRGC in power. Realistically, however, it seems they have nothing left but holding their people hostage.
