They also discussed how President Donald Trump's tax cuts are affecting inflation, Americans' pocketbooks and how they will affect the midterms.

The panel also discussed what Democrats are learning from progressive candidate Analilia Mejia's lead over Republican Joe Hathaway in New Jersey's 11th District race, and how Republicans can counter some of the trends toward Democrats heading into the midterms.
