Huber also said when countries or organizations attach destructive ideologies to foreign aid, it creates distrust and negative sentiment toward the U.S. in those countries and does nothing to improve the health and well-being of women and girls. She shared how health diplomacy can work as a partnership with the country’s own culture and expertise.
