The work of Rembrandt and his contemporaries is on show at the exhibition 'Art in Life in Rembrandt's Time, Masterpieces from the Leiden Collection' in West Palm Beach, Florida.

"What we're looking at here is 76 paintings that span the 17th century, all made by Rembrandt and his contemporaries or even people in his circle that he taught. So you have a few generations, but they all worked and were active in the 17th century in the Netherlands," explains J. Rachel Gustafson, chief curatorial officer at the Norton Museum of Art.

Twenty-seven artists are included in the exhibition, which runs until March 29.
