Ahead of next week’s COP26 in Glasgow, NTD is taking a look at nuclear power. Some see it as a dangerous and costly relic of the 20th century, while others argue it’s a crucial low-carbon source for a stable supply. The UK currently gets 16 percent of electricity from nuclear, and the government sees it as part of its net-zero strategy.
