Trump Delivers Statement as He Arrives at New York Court for Day 1 of Fraud Trial

Live Chat

New York Attorney General Letitia James looks to establish damages after a New York judge found former President Donald Trump and his family business inflated the value of his properties and other assets on Sept. 26.

President Trump has sued to delay the trial. A New York appeals court on Sept. 28 refused to delay President Trump’s scheduled Oct. 2 civil fraud trial, after the former president accused the trial judge of wrongly refusing to throw out most of the case.

President Trump arrives at the New York state Supreme Court for the court hearing at 10 a.m. ET on Oct. 2.
