NYC Delays Salary Disclosure Law

Lawmakers have voted on Thursday to postpone a pending new rule in New York City. That’s after they overwhelmingly voted to pass it four months ago. If approved, the measure would require many ads for jobs in New York City to include salary ranges. It’s an effort to give applicants a better shot at fair pay. But some businesses have concerns—and it’s now on hold for the next five months.
