NYC Mayor Says Illegal Immigrants Will Not Be Living on Streets, Wants More Federal Funds

New York City Mayor Eric Adams says illegal immigrants will not be living on the streets despite the municipality’s struggles to financially support the many who are being sent there. “The problem is, as fast as we’re able to stabilize families, they come in through our front door,” Mr. Adams said. He also repeated his past calls for more federal funding to aid the city’s efforts to accommodate the mass influx of illegal immigrants.
