NYC Schools Remove Columbus Day, Snow Days

New York City public schools aren’t celebrating Columbus Day anymore. But they’ll still take the day off to celebrate Indigenous People’s Day and Italian Heritage Day.

The public schools are also getting rid of snow days. If the snow is too heavy, students will have to learn from home.
