NYC Subway Crime Up 41 Percent

Subway crime in New York City has increased by 41 percent so far this year, compared to the same period in 2021. New York state and city officials announced a plan on Oct. 22 to combat the rise in crime and better deal with mental illness in the city’s subway system.
