During China’s qualifying rounds for Olympic-level swimming, some famous athletes failed to make the cut, despite receiving excellent scores in swimming. Some of them had even won Olympic medals in previous years.
Reportedly, their rejections came after they scored poorly in physical fitness tests like long-distance running.
