Five U.S. venture capital firms plowed at least $3 billion into Chinese tech companies that support Beijing’s military and its repression of minorities in Xinjiang, a U.S. congressional report alleged on Thursday. The House Select China Committee is urging more policy restrictions on U.S. investment into China. Michael Sekora, founder and director of the Socrates Project from the Reagan White House told NTD about what’s driving the investments.
