Outdoor Dining Structures in New York City

New York City has issued special allowance so restaurants can install outdoor dining structures in front of their establishments.

In September, Mayor Bill de Blasio said the structures will be allowed to stay year-round. He didn’t specify if that allowance will be permanent or only for 2021. According to one restaurant manager, the allowance only applies until the end of this year.
