More and more people are now reconsidering America’s business relationship with China, while the president is talking about a full decoupling. While there are new threats, many Americans were burned by their experiences outsourcing to China long ago. Debbie Flood is one of them. She’s the president of the Wisconsin-based architectural hardware manufacturer Melron Corp. Melron lost half its business to China and was forced to innovate to survive. Many others weren’t so lucky. NTD asked her how she felt as she watched so many jobs and business get lost to China in the 2000s.
