With the death toll surge across China, new funeral homes are being built in some cities. Based on a video clip from Chinese social media, a funeral home in Northern China’s Harbin city is building more than 20 makeshift morgues. The structures will store human remains. The extra room will help cope with the demand for cremation services since the funeral home doesn’t have the capacity to cremate bodies as fast as they’re arriving.
