Chris Norton suffered a severe spinal cord injury in 2010 while playing football for Iowa’s Luther College. Due to the injury, he was paralyzed and had to be confined to a wheelchair.
But five years later, on his graduation day, he stunned everyone there by walking across the stage with his fiancée, Emily Summer.
Norton, though, wasn’t ready to stop there. He set walking down the aisle as his next objective.
After months of rigorous preparation, the big day at last came. Emily put her arms around her husband and helped him get out of his wheelchair after the ceremony.
All of their friends and family were taken aback by the seemingly miraculous moment that occurred.
