They knew that due to a fatal birth defect, one of their new born twins would not survive for more than a few days. To keep their little son alive forever in memories they decided to do a touching photo-shoot along with his twin sister!
On 17th December 2016, Lyndsay gave birth to her twins in Toledo, Ohio. She and her husband, Matthew Brentlinger, were overjoyed seeing the newly born babies – the precious moment that they were waiting for, since many years.
The doctors had already told the couple that the baby boy had birth defects as only the right-side of his heart was functioning, and his survival was questionable to the point that he might be a still-born. But fortunately the baby was born alive, and survived for 11 days.
Lyndsay wanted to make the best use of time and company of the twins as one family. They worked on themselves at the same time to be happy during the days when their baby boy, William, was with them.
One of the couple’s family friend managed to hire a professional photographer, Lindsey Brown, who did an amazing photo-shoot of the twins, capturing the joy of the whole family together.
“Pictures are just memories. I know how much people cherish them, so I was really glad I was able to do that for them,” Brown told 13abc Action News.
“They were the happiest 11 days of my life,” said Matthew.
“I cried the first time I looked at them. I still cry sometimes,” said Lyndsay. “They are beautiful and he is beautiful. In some of them, you can see he is wide awake with his big beautiful eyes. It’s something we will definitely cherish.”
