The Drug Enforcement Agency is warning parents to be aware of what’s in their children’s trick-or-treat candy. Some law enforcement officers have found fentanyl in candy boxes. NTD spoke to Victor Avila, a retired special agent with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. Avila says this may be a life-or-death situation if these drugs go undetected. Therefore, he says parents must be “very diligent” in checking for laced Halloween candy.
