This year is said to be a “watershed moment” for school choice, according to the nonprofit Edchoice.
It says so because states have created or expanded voucher programs. NTD speaks to Corey DeAngelis, a senior fellow for the American Federation for Children about this.
Mr. DeAngelis says this is partly because parents want their kids to learn the basics in school to get better jobs and not be indoctrinated by a curriculum that contains ideas from critical race theory.
