Chinese spy balloons have been talked about a lot in recent weeks. But now, Chinese spy cranes are taking the spotlight.

These giant Chinese-made cranes are operating in American ports, and U.S. officials are worried China is using them to gather intel on important American shipping data.

Around 80 percent of the cranes in American ports were made in China! They’re made By Chinese manufacturer ZPMC, and are used to load and unload container ships.

Pentagon officials compared these cranes to a Trojan horse because China may be able to track what America is moving in and out of the country with advanced sensors and cameras.
