Beijing’s Eastern Theater Command, which is stationed in the area around Taiwan, released pictures on its social media WeChat account showing missile boats performing live-fire drills a day after Taiwan’s presidential election.
The post did not say where the exercises were happening. One of the boat’s pictures was developed from another vessel used during a battle between the Chinese and Taiwanese navies where China claimed victory.
