Maureen Breen is a professor of accounting at Drexel University, and she’s also the president of “Philadelphia Backyard Chickens” Facebook group.
In raising her birds, she’s run afoul of Philadelphia’s animal control laws that don’t allow chickens in the city. So she’s in a battle to get that changed. And she’s not alone.
