These photos of siblings will make you cry

These photos were taken in Quang Ba, Ha Giang, Vietnam.

Poverty is nothing new in this world. And these photos illustrate how in some parts of the world, children are left with no choice but to take care of their younger siblings. In many cases, the parents of these children are off in the fields toiling all day long or in cities far away and forced to leave their young children behind in the countryside.

Perhaps their compassion and commitment can teach us something as well.
