Physicists Begin Search for Dark Matter

Physicists have successfully created a dark matter detector, called the LUX-ZEPLIN (LZ). It’s located at an underground research facility in South Dakota. Scientists believe 85 percent of the universe’s mass is dark matter, but they have not yet been able to prove it.
