On the afternoon of Sept. 24, The Shen Yun Symphony Orchestra came to the Pingtung County Performing Arts Center-Concert Hall to perform. The beautiful and stylish display of unique original music and Western classical pieces brought intensity to the audience like the southern sun of Taiwan. After endless encores and applause, the Pingtung County General Director of the Education Department praised Shen Yun, describing it as music coming from divinity.
The Director, Wang Huilan said, “Today when we heard the symphony, it was actually like I could visualize a large field of music. So the impression it left on me was very deep, all afternoon the feeling given to us was very beautiful and splendid.”
She also said, “Today many of our Pingtung middle and elementary school principals brought their music class students to the show. I believe they will see a lot of beautiful and splendid music from this kind of mix of eastern and western music. Since this field of music is very charming and impressive, I believe the children will feel the music is very magnificent.”
“Shen Yun Symphony Orchestra’s music is actually a quintessential mix of eastern and western music. I believe it will let the children develop an affinity for music, as Shen Yun is expressing divine music here. Actually there are many people chasing this kind of wonderful experience at the spiritual level.”
Shen Yun Symphony Orchestra moves along its Taiwan tour with Kaohsiung as its next stop.
