Charlie Gowans-Eglinton, fashion features editor at The Telegraph, commented on the Pippa phenomena, “I imagine that the Palace would have kind of notes for her and thoughts on how she should behave, but at the same time, you know, she doesn’t have a title in that family, it’s more, you know, you wouldn’t want to be the one letting everyone down, would you? And you wouldn’t want to be the one making headlines, and I think if she’s doing things in her private life that she doesn’t want in the papers, then it’s hard for her to actually do those things any more because she is so closely watched.”
