Plane crashes near Portugal supermarket, killing 5

A light airplane crashed near a supermarket shortly after take off from a small airport outside Lisbon, Portugal, on April 17.

The pilot and three passengers, three from France and one from Switzerland, all died in the crash. One person on the ground was also killed.

The plane landed on a truck outside the supermarket, causing a fire. Approximately 50 rescue workers responded.

The cause of the accident is not yet known.
