According to Shanghai residents, armed patrol staff were recently spotted in the city.
Starting last weekend, the soldiers were seen rushing through the metropolis via land and air.
Videos circulating online also show the arrival of multiple large transport aircrafts. They’re operated by China’s People’s Liberation Army, or PLA, the official name for China’s military.
