California’s Norwalk-La Mirada Unified School District was considering a proposal to bring a Planned Parenthood clinic to one of the district’s high schools. Under California law, students wouldn’t need parental consent in order to receive the clinic’s services. One attorney says the district is trying to create “transgender conversion camps.” Parents and others protested the proposals, which lead to the district postponing discussions about the clinic.
