PM Theresa May seeks elsewhere for government support in Brexit talks

U.K. Prime Minister Theresa May spoke to media after her Conservative Party lost majority seats in Parliament. She was hoping a Conservative majority would make Brexit negotiations easier. Now she will seek support from Northern Ireland’s Democratic Unionist Party, a pro-UK Northern Ireland group.

Earlier interviews revealed May does not support Brexit herself, but feels she must follow on it after the vote.

Brexit leaves the UK in a questionable position on the world stage, with potential negative effects for both EU members and the U.K.
