Seattle police say five people are under arrest for blocking traffic and vandalizing property.

On Saturday night, a group of demonstrators moved into residential neighborhoods where police say they blocked traffic, including an emergency vehicle on the way to a hospital.

Officers also say people in the group threw rocks at officers and held up large patio umbrellas while others spray-painted signs and buildings.

Those taken into custody face charges that include failure to disperse, pedestrian interference, obstruction, and resisting arrest.

There are no reports of any injuries.
