Police Track Alleged Bumbling Car Thief Through Suburbs

A man led police through the streets of Perth as he attempted to evade capture on Tuesday, March 6, crashing one vehicle before allegedly trying to steal a number of other cars and eventually ramming a police vehicle.

Police air wing footage shows the pursuit, which began in Applecross and ended in Myaree with his arrest.

The 32-year-old was charged with numerous offenses, including aggravated home burglary, stealing a motor vehicle, and reckless driving to escape pursuit, WA Today reported.

Other details about the case were not made clear. The incident was captured in March 2018.
