Politicians, Teachers Unions to Blame for Lower Academic Scores: Jeffrey Tucker

The 2022 release of the Nation’s Report Card showed that U.S. students’ math and reading scores had dropped several points from 2019. NTD spoke to Jeffrey Tucker, the founder and president of the Brownstone Institute, about the role remote learning may have played in the decrease. Tucker believes the blame falls on public health bureaucrats and teachers unions for the plunge in academics resulting from a lack of in-person instruction.
