Poll: Gubernatorial Race in NY Is Tight, Some Democrats Might Vote Republican

A new poll released by the Trafalgar Group on Sept. 3 shows that New York Gov. Kathy Hochul’s lead over gubernatorial challenger Congressman Lee Zeldin decreased. She now leads 47.8 percent to Zeldin’s 43.4 percent. Different polls found that she had a much stronger lead a month ago. The new poll was conducted mostly among Democratic voters.
