At the launch of a new popular Conservatism movement, dubbed ‘PopCon,’ former Prime Minister Liz Truss said Conservatives have been swimming against the tide when it comes to conservative values. She also said that as a group, Conservatives have failed to take on left-wing extremists. The director of the new movement, Mark Littlewood, was formerly the boss of the free market think tank the Institute of Economic Affairs.
