The Environmental Movement’s Moral Blackmail: Rupert Darwall

Rupert Darwall is a senior fellow at RealClearFoundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving the principles of honest journalism.

Darwall, who is based in the UK, is also the author of several books including “The Age of Global Warming: A History” and “Green Tyranny: Exposing the Totalitarian Roots of the Climate Industrial Complex.”

NTD’s Paul Greaney sat down with Darwall in New York City to discuss the climate-industrial complex, the global energy crisis, and who benefits from the West pursuing a net-zero carbon emission goal.

“All this started in 1988, at the first big climate conference, which was in Toronto. … They said, “Climate change will be second only to a global nuclear war.” So we’ve had how many years since 1988? Over three decades. Can anyone really, hand on heart, say you’ve seen anything approaching a global nuclear war in terms of extreme weather? Because climate change is manifested in extreme weather. There’s nothing that remotely justifies such a claim.”
