President Trump sent a scornful tweet about another possible investigation.
The Washington Post reported that special counsel Robert Mueller might be pursuing a possible obstruction of justice investigation regarding the president’s actions to allegedly slow the Russia election-tampering probe.
The president pointed out that since there is no evidence of the latter, there is thus no basis for the former.
“They made up a phony collusion with the Russians story, found zero proof, so now they go for obstruction of justice on the phony story. Nice.” was the president’s comment on the story.
