President Donald Trump will celebrate his first 100 days in office on April 29. His presidency has been remarkably active thus far.

Trump broke records for number of executive actions signed, 30, and items of legislation passed, 28. He has actively rolled back regulations, by signing 13 Congressional Review Act (CRA) resolutions, more than any other president.

“A lot of the effects of this we will not be able to see for at least another 100 days, I would say. But this isn’t to say there weren’t major changes. For example, making laws that say, if a federal agency creates a new regulation, you have to get rid of two; directing James Mattis, you know ‘Mad Dog’ Mattis, to find a strategy to defeat ISIS; creating new laws on assault against police officers so that there may be higher penalties for it; a lot of internal changes in how businesses are run and regulations on businesses. He’s had many, many executive orders so far that work on the foundational elements of how things are done in this country. It’s unclear how these will pan out, but all of them are long term. Long-term changes that we won’t see for a little bit still,” said Joshua Philipp, China and national security analyst at the Epoch Times.

The president has also made some important decisions. He has taken a stronger approach with North Korea. He ordered missile strikes on an Syrian airbase after the Syrian government used nerve gas on its citizens. He’s pressured for a swifter strategy to defeat ISIS. He’s cracking down on trade abuse and trade deficits.

But there’s a lot more on Trump’s to-do list. That includes a health care overhaul, tax reform, Infrastructure reform, an assessment of U.S. trade deals, and the construction of a U.S.-Mexico border wall.

The Trump administration has promised to deliver on most of these items by the end of this year.
