President Trump visits Cincinnati to discuss health care, infrastructure

President Donald Trump to deliver a speech on infrastructure.

He also discussed health care.

“Obamacare is in a total death spiral,” he stated. “And the problems will only get worse if Congress fails to act.”

The president said premiums were rising and insurers were dropping out. He called the quality of coverage “horrendous.”

“The House of Representatives has done its job.  It’s sent a plan to the Senate, and the Senate is working it over. We spent a lot of time yesterday with Mitch McConnell and a lot of the great senators,” the president continued.

The President said the Democrats were “destroying health care in this country.”

“The Republicans are working very, very hard on getting a great health care plan,” president Trump concluded. “So now it is the Senate’s turn to act.

“And again, I hope that they are going to act in a very positive manner.”

In his speech on infrastructure it is expected the President will suggest public-private partnerships. The President feels this is key to raising infrastructure investment.
