President Donald Trump vowed to bring down the cost of prescription drugs through a major bidding process he stated during a meeting with the Executive Committee of the Congressional Black Caucus Monday afternoon at the White House.
The president said he was urged by U.S. Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-Md.) during an Oval Office meeting last week.
Trump said the cost of prescription drugs is outlandish whether you live in an inner city neighborhood or suburbia.
